This exquisite cushion cover is made from handpicked Kantha throws as part of a unique collection of pre-loved textiles. These are some of our favourite pieces, celebrating the beauty of craftsmanship and the many layers of recycling they represent. Originally beginning life as individual cotton saris, each throw is carefully created from multiple layers of vintage fabric, hand-stitched together using traditional kantha stitching techniques before cut into patches to create this cushion cover. The work is carried out by women, in a cottage industry setting, in India. You’ll discover genuine patches, fading, and charming imperfections throughout — details that make every piece truly one of a kind.
